Single- or Dual-Channel Versions Available
Using digital signal processing circuitry and GE Panametrics’ patented Correlation Transit-Time™ technique, the GN868 natural gas flowmeter is accurate, reliable and drift-free. Single- or dual-channel versions are available. The dual-channel model can be used to measure the flow rate in two separate pipes or the flow rate in one pipe using two ultrasonic paths for higher accuracy. Analog and pulse outputs in velocity, actual volumetric, standard volumetric and gas molecular weight are standard.

This obstructionless meter has 1,500:1 rangeability in pipes from 3 to 48 in (7.6 cm to 1.2 m) in diameter, with no pressure drop and no regular maintenance required. Spoolpiece and hot-tap installations are available. When using a hot-tap installation, the cost of the meter does not increase with pipe size. There is no need to blow down the pipeline, and the pipeline can be pigged while the meter is in operation.
